Silver Grain

Pushing HP5 two stops

Longer development, more contrast, and grain that suits grey autumn streets. Agitation every minute keeps the highlights under control.

A cheap light meter is still a meter

Checked an old selenium meter against a phone app. Within half a stop outdoors, useless indoors. Good enough for sunny sixteen days.

Contact sheets first

Printing a contact sheet before scanning saves time. Most frames are not worth the scanner, and the sheet makes that obvious.
